381.77 Nursing home residents, age 55 and under; annual survey.

The department shall conduct an annual survey of nursing homes in the state to determine the number of persons 55 years of age and under who reside in such homes due to brain or spinal cord injuries. All persons identified in such a survey shall be evaluated as to their rehabilitation potential, and any person who may benefit from rehabilitation shall be given an opportunity to participate in an appropriate rehabilitation program for which she or he may be eligible.
