192.117   Property Tax Administration Task Force.

192.117  Property Tax Administration Task Force.--There is created the Property Tax Administration Task Force for the purpose of serving as a forum for bringing issues in property tax administration to the Department of Revenue, of providing and evaluating suggestions for improving the property tax administration process, and of promoting greater understanding of property tax administration issues. The Property Tax Administration Task Force shall consist of members representing business and industry, taxpayer groups, municipalities, counties, school districts, special districts, state government, and elected officials charged with assessing and collecting property taxes. The Executive Director of the Department of Revenue shall appoint the members. The task force shall make periodic reports to the department concerning findings and recommendations in the area of property tax administration.
