Chapter 507 MOVING SERVICES  
507.13   Local regulation.

507.13  Local regulation.--The provisions of this act are not intended to preempt local ordinances or regulations of a county or municipality that regulate transactions relating to movers of household goods. As provided in s. 507.03(4), counties and municipalities may require, levy, or collect any registration fee or tax or require the registration or bonding in any manner of any mover. The department may enter into a cooperative agreement with any county or municipality that provides for the referral, investigation, and prosecution of consumer complaints alleging violations of this act.
