450.201   Legislative Commission on Migrant Labor; membership; filling vacancies.

450.201  Legislative Commission on Migrant Labor; membership; filling vacancies.--There is created a permanent joint committee of the Florida Legislature to be known as the Legislative Commission on Migrant Labor, to be composed of three members of the Senate, appointed by the President of the Senate, and three members of the House of Representatives, appointed by the Speaker of the House. One member from each house shall be a member of the minority party. Any vacancy in the commission shall be filled by the respective presiding officer from the membership of the legislative body from which the vacancy occurred. However, a member who ceases to be a member of the legislative body from which appointed shall continue to be a member of the commission until the next succeeding regular session of the Legislature, at which the commission shall render its report to the Legislature.
