Chapter 202 Communications Services Tax Simplification Law
202.40 Advisory committee.
1202.40 Advisory committee.--
(1) The executive director of the Department of Revenue shall appoint members to an advisory committee by August 1, 2000. Each member shall serve at the discretion of the executive director. The committee shall include consumer, county, municipal, state, and communications services dealer representatives, along with other interested parties the executive director deems appropriate. During the period of implementation of the Communications Services Tax Simplification Law, the committee shall advise the executive director regarding the department's transition strategy, development of necessary business processes, rule adoption processes, and processes for identifying issues for further legislative consideration.
(2) This section shall take effect upon this act becoming a law.
