468.356 Approval of educational programs.
468.356 Approval of educational programs.--
(1) Approval of educational programs shall be in accordance with the Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, or other accrediting agency recognized by the United States Office of Education.
(2) In the event that an educational program has not yet received full American Medical Association approval, the board, at its discretion, may require appropriate documentation of the intent to achieve full accreditation within a specified time period. Temporary approval for graduates of such programs to sit for state licensure examinations may then be granted by the board.
