403.1829   Funding of projects; priorities.

403.1829  Funding of projects; priorities.--Eligible projects shall be funded according to priorities established by department rule. Such priorities shall be established according to the extent each project is intended to remove, mitigate, or prevent adverse effects on surface or ground water quality and public health. Advanced waste treatment facilities or portions thereof which are required for discharge to surface waters or groundwater protection or protection of public health, which are required by the department, and which are determined to be ineligible for federal funding are eligible for supplemental state funding under this act.
