376.3195   Prohibitions on employment of or contractual arrangements with certain department employees.

376.3195  Prohibitions on employment of or contractual arrangements with certain department employees.--No employee of the department holding a position in the Senior Management Service as defined in s. 110.402 or holding a position in the Select Exempt Service as defined in s. 110.602 shall have or hold any employment or contractual relationship, including consulting contracts, with any entity other than an agency which bids, negotiates, or contracts for any task or activity related to petroleum storage tanks regulation for 2 years following vacation of the employee's position. In addition, no employee of the Bureau of Waste Cleanup shall personally represent another person or entity for compensation before the department, regarding petroleum storage tanks regulation or petroleum contamination site rehabilitation, for a period of 2 years following vacation of the employee's position; however, this prohibition does not apply to persons employed by the bureau in maintenance, clerical, secretarial, or similar positions. The provisions of this section shall not be construed to conflict with part III of chapter 112.
