205.1965   Assisted living facilities.

205.1965  Assisted living facilities.--A county or municipality may not issue an occupational license for the operation of an assisted living facility pursuant to part III of chapter 400 without first ascertaining that the applicant has been licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration to operate such facility at the specified location or locations. The Agency for Health Care Administration shall furnish to local agencies responsible for issuing occupational licenses sufficient instructions for making the above required determinations.
