110.1232   Health insurance coverage for persons retired under state-administered retirement systems before January 1, 1976, and for spouses.

110.1232  Health insurance coverage for persons retired under state-administered retirement systems before January 1, 1976, and for spouses.--Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, the 1Division of State Group Insurance shall provide health insurance coverage in the State Group Health Insurance Plan for persons who retired prior to January 1, 1976, under any of the state-administered retirement systems and who are not covered by social security and for the spouses and surviving spouses of such retirees who are also not covered by social security. Such health insurance coverage shall provide the same benefits as provided to other retirees who are entitled to participate under s. 110.123. The claims experience of this group shall be commingled with the claims experience of other members covered under s. 110.123.

The Division of State Employees' Insurance was redesignated as the Division of State Group Insurance by s. 1, ch. 97-92.
