Chapter 608 Limited Liability Companies
608.471 Tax on income of limited liability company.
608.471 Tax on income of limited liability company.--
(1) A limited liability company is an "artificial entity" within the purview of s. 220.02 and is subject to the tax imposed under chapter 220.
(2) The income of a limited liability company organized pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to the Florida Income Tax Code and the tax levied pursuant to chapter 220.
(3) A distribution shall be deemed a "dividend" under s. 316 of the Internal Revenue Code as such code is defined in s. 220.03.
