236.092 Mathematics, science, and computer learning laboratories.
236.092 Mathematics, science, and computer learning laboratories.--
(1) The Legislature shall annually provide by categorical funding in the General Appropriations Act for purchase and maintenance of computers and scientific equipment to be utilized by public school districts and developmental research schools to provide laboratory experiences for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
(2) In providing these funds, it is the intent of the Legislature to maximize exposure of students in kindergarten through grade 12 to laboratory experiences in the fields of mathematics, science, and computer education.
(3) This section shall be implemented in the 1983-1984 school year and thereafter only to the extent specifically funded and authorized in the General Appropriations Act or the substantive bill implementing the General Appropriations Act.
