229.501   Bond of Commissioner of Education.

229.501  Bond of Commissioner of Education.--Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, the Commissioner of Education shall execute with two good and sufficient sureties approved by the state board or with a surety company authorized to do business in Florida, a bond in the amount of $5,000, the premium for which shall be paid from money appropriated for the operation of the Department of Education.
