Chapter 839 Offenses By Public Officers And Employees  
839.08   Public officer not to purchase supplies for public use from herself or himself.

839.08  Public officer not to purchase supplies for public use from herself or himself.--No state or county officer shall purchase supplies or materials for public use from herself or himself or from any firm or corporation in which the officer is interested, nor in any manner share in the proceeds of such purchase. Any person violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
