154.508 Identification of low-income, uninsured children; determination of Medicaid eligibility; alternative health care information.--The Agency for Health Care Administration shall develop a program, in conjunction with the Department of Education, the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Health, local school districts, and other stakeholders to identify low-income, uninsured children and, to the extent possible and subject to appropriation, refer them to the Department of Children and Family Services for a Medicaid eligibility determination and provide parents with information about alternative sources of health care.
