§ 4–561.08. Monitoring by Chief of Police.

Universal Citation: DC Code § 4–561.08 (2019)

The Chief of Police shall monitor the MPD personnel’s compliance with MPD orders and protocols related to law enforcement interaction with sexual assault victims, including the Sexual Assault Unit’s Standard Operating Procedures, when responding to sexual assault crimes.

Applicability

Section 9(a) of D.C. Law 23-57 provided that the amendments made to this section shall apply as of October 1, 2020. Therefore those amendments shall be implemented for this section on October 1, 2020.
