The primary objective of the Child Placement Review Board is to provide a citizen-based independent monitoring of Delaware children in the care and custody of a placement agency to ensure that children achieve permanency. In meeting its objectives the Board shall conduct reviews of children in out of home placements; advocate for the timely establishment of permanency; advise the legislature; prepare an annual report concerning resources, policies, procedures and statutes which affect the goal of permanency for children.
