§ 8201. Board of Assessment for Kent County [Effective until Jan. 8, 2013]


9 DE Code § 8201 (2012 through 146th Gen Ass) What's This?

(a) There shall be a Board of Assessment for Kent County.

(b) The Board shall consist of 3 members to be appointed by the government of Kent County.

(c) The term of office of each member is 4 years commencing on the second Tuesday in January next after each member's appointment.

(d) All 3 members of the Board shall be appointed by the county government every 4 years in the year next after the year in which the Governor is elected.

(e) The members shall be qualified voters of Kent County, no 2 of whom shall be residents of the same senatorial district. All members shall be chosen from the 2 principal political parties, and not more than 2 shall be of the same political faith.
