Chapter 815a - Orders of Protection and Relief
Section 46b-15b - Duties of Superior Court re applicants for restraining orders in domestic violence situations.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 46b-15b (2019)

The Superior Court shall provide any person who applies for a restraining order in a domestic violence situation with information on steps necessary to continue such order beyond the initial period and shall provide an applicant with information on how to contact a domestic violence counselor, as defined in section 52-146k, and a domestic violence agency, as defined in section 52-146k.

History: P.A. 16-105 substituted “counselor, as defined in section 52-146k, and a domestic violence agency, as defined in section 52-146k” for “counselors and counseling organizations” and made a technical change.
