The Commission on Women, Children and Seniors, in conjunction with the Police Officer Standards and Training Council, shall develop a training program on trafficking in persons and make such training program available, upon request, to the Division of State Police within the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, the office of the Chief State's Attorney, local police departments and community organizations.

History: P.A. 06-43 effective July 1, 2006; pursuant to P.A. 11-51, “Department of Public Safety” was changed editorially by the Revisors to “Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection”, effective July 1, 2011; May Sp. Sess. P.A. 16-3 replaced “Permanent Commission on the Status of Women” with “Commission on Women, Children and Seniors”, effective July 1, 2016.
