Section 34-247j - Certificate of legal existence.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 34-247j (2019)

On request of any person, the Secretary of the State shall issue a certificate of legal existence for a domestic or registered foreign limited liability company. A certificate issued by the Secretary of the State under this section may be relied upon as conclusive evidence of the facts set forth in the certificate.

History: P.A. 16-97 effective July 1, 2017; P.A. 17-108 deleted former Subsecs. (b) and (c), deleted Subdiv. (a) designator, replaced “certificate of good standing for a limited liability company” with “certificate of legal existence for a domestic or registered foreign limited liability company”, deleted provision re issuance of certificate of registration for registered foreign limited liability company, and added provision re certificate may be relied upon as conclusive evidence of facts set forth in certificate, effective July 1, 2017.
