Section 20-478 - Regulations.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 20-478 (2019)

The commissioner shall adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, to administer the provisions of sections 20-475 and 20-476. Such regulations shall include, but not be limited to, the following: (1) Standards for licensure of lead abatement contractors and lead consultant contractors; (2) passing scores for certification examinations of lead inspectors, lead inspector risk assessors and lead abatement supervisors; and (3) standards for certification of lead inspectors, lead inspector risk assessors, lead planner-project designers, lead abatement supervisors and lead abatement workers.

History: P.A. 94-220 effective July 1, 1994; P.A. 07-217 made technical changes, effective July 12, 2007; P.A. 17-66 replaced “licensure examination of lead abatement contractors and lead consultant contractors” with “certification examinations of lead inspectors, lead inspector risk assessors and lead abatement supervisors” in Subdiv. (2), and replaced “lead consultants” with “lead inspectors, lead inspector risk assessors, lead planner-project designers” in Subdiv. (3), effective July 1, 2017.
