Section 16-232 - Rights of companies organized under general law.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 16-232 (2019)

No electric distribution company organized under any former joint stock law of this state shall use or occupy any highway or public grounds or be entitled to the powers or privileges enumerated in this chapter, without special authority from the General Assembly.

History: P.A. 14-134 replaced “electric light or electric power company” with “electric distribution company”, effective June 6, 2014.
