Section 14-41b - Validity of operator’s license held by member of the armed forces following separation from service.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 14-41b (2019)

A Connecticut motor vehicle operator’s license held by any person on active duty with the armed forces and absent from this state due to such service shall be valid for sixty days following the date on which the license holder is honorably separated from such service, unless the license is suspended, cancelled or revoked as provided by law earlier than such date. The license shall be valid only when in the immediate possession of the license holder and the license holder has his or her discharge or separation papers in his or her immediate possession.

History: P.A. 17-79 replaced “thirty days” with “sixty days” and deleted “or returns to this state”, effective July 1, 2017.
