Sec. 9-178. Senator in Congress.
Sec. 9-178. Senator in Congress. A senator in Congress shall be elected by the electors of the several towns, as provided by the Constitution of the United States, in any year occurring next before the expiration of the term of a senator in Congress, and in any other year when the Governor issues writs of election to fill a vacancy in the office of senator in Congress.(1949 Rev., S. 1097; 1953, S. 660d.)
