Sec. 54-56c. Request for privileged trial status. If the accused enters a plea of not guilty, the state's attorney, assistant state's attorney or deputy assistant state's attorney may, in accordance with rules adopted by the judges of the Superior Court, request that the case be privileged with respect to assignment for trial.(P.A. 80-313, S. 31.)
