Chapter 952 Penal Code: Offenses
Sec. 53a-192a. Trafficking in persons: Class B felony.

      Sec. 53a-192a. Trafficking in persons: Class B felony. (a) A person is guilty of trafficking in persons when such person commits coercion as provided in section 53a-192 and the other person is compelled or induced to (1) engage in conduct that constitutes a violation of section 53a-82, or (2) provide labor or services.

      (b) Trafficking in persons is a class B felony.

      History: P.A. 06-43 effective July 1, 2006; P.A. 10-36 amended Subsec. (a)(2) to replace "work" with "provide labor or services", effective July 1, 2010.
