Sec. 52-169. Protests of bills and notes.

      Sec. 52-169. Protests of bills and notes. Protests of inland bills of exchange and promissory notes, protested without this state, shall be prima facie evidence of the facts therein stated.

      If protest states that due notice was given to the endorser in a particular way, the statute makes this evidence that such notice was in fact given. 33 C. 95. Cited. 211 C. 555.
