Sec. 45a-293. (Formerly Sec. 45-179). Notice of devise or bequest to corporation. Within thirty days after the admission to probate of any will containing a devise or bequest to any corporation or voluntary association, the judge, clerk or assistant clerk of the court of probate before which it has been proved shall mail, postage paid, a written notice thereof, directed to the devisee or legatee at the place where it is located.(1949 Rev., S. 6967; P.A. 80-476, S. 249.)
History; P.A. 80-476 substituted the verb "mail" for "deposit in the post office"; Sec. 45-179 transferred to Sec. 45a-293 in 1991.
