Sec. 38a-215. (Formerly Sec. 33-169). Formation. Any number of persons not less than seven, all of whom shall be residents of this state, may form a corporation, under and in conformity with the provisions of sections 38a-214 to 38a-225, inclusive, for the purpose of establishing, maintaining and operating a nonprofit medical service corporation. The Connecticut State Medical Society, the Fairfield County Medical Association, the Hartford County Medical Association, the Litchfield County Medical Association, the Middlesex County Medical Association, the New Haven County Medical Association, the New London County Medical Association, the Tolland County Medical Association and the Windham County Medical Association may jointly or severally incorporate for the purposes of operating a medical service corporation.(1949 Rev., S. 5281.)
