Sec. 33-996. Applicability to qualified foreign corporations. A foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state on January 1, 1997, is subject to sections 33-600 to 33-998, inclusive, but is not required to obtain a new certificate of authority to transact business under said sections.(P.A. 94-186, S. 207, 215.)
