Sec. 22a-256a. Recycling of nickel-cadmium batteries contained in consumer products. On and after July 1, 1993, each municipality shall recycle nickel-cadmium batteries contained in consumer products and disposed of in municipal solid waste within three months of the establishment of service to such municipality by a regional processing center or local processing system.(P.A. 89-385, S. 14.)
