      Sec. 22a-174f. Market-based programs to achieve air quality standards. Regulations. The Commissioner of Environmental Protection may adopt regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, to provide for market-based programs to achieve attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under the federal Clean Air Act. Such programs may include, without limitation, marketable permits and emission reduction credits.
