Sec. 22a-21a. State assistance related to recreation and park services.
Sec. 22a-21a. State assistance related to recreation and park services. The Department of Environmental Protection shall: (1) Study the recreation needs of the state and disseminate information concerning recreation services; (2) assist municipalities and other political subdivisions of the state in establishing and financing recreation and parks programs; (3) accept grants from the public and private sectors for the purpose of providing and improving recreation and park services and (4) cooperate with state, local and federal agencies, private groups, individuals and commercial recreation enterprises in providing and improving recreation and park services.(P.A. 78-359, S. 6, 8.)
