Chapter 439 Environmental Protection Department and State Policy
Sec. 22a-10. Payment of refunds.

      Sec. 22a-10. Payment of refunds. The Comptroller, upon application of the Commissioner of Environmental Protection, may draw his order upon the Treasurer in favor of any person equitably entitled to the refund of any money paid to any component agency of the Department of Environmental Protection or to said department, for the amount of such refund as determined by said commissioner.

      History: P.A. 73-162 made provisions applicable to payments made to department of environmental protection as well as to any of its component agencies; P.A. 77-614 replaced commissioner of finance and control with secretary of the office of policy and management; P.A. 79-66 required that secretary of office of policy and management approve refunds in excess of $50, rather than $25; P.A. 80-275 deleted provision requiring approval of secretary of office of policy and management for refunds of more than $50.
