      Sec. 17b-256d. State medical assistance program. Use of federally-qualified community health centers. Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter, the Commissioner of Social Services may enter into a contract with a consortium of federally-qualified community health centers to provide medical assistance to beneficiaries eligible under section 17b-192.

P.A. 02-7 authorized Commissioner of Social Services to contract with consortium of federally-qualified community health centers to provide medical assistance to eligible beneficiaries, deleted provision re implementation of "mandatory program of primary case management" and deleted provision re contracts for medical services and program management, effective August 15, 2002; June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-3, in repealing Sec. 17b-259, authorized deletion of internal references to said section in this section, effective March 1, 2004.
