Sec. 45a-696. (Formerly Sec. 45-78v). Respondent to be present at hearing on
ability to give informed consent to sterilization. The respondent shall be present at
any hearing regarding his or her ability to give informed consent to sterilization. The
court shall inquire at the time of hearing as to the types and effects of any medication
being administered to or taken by the respondent.
