      Sec. 2-54a. Interim appointment of legislative commissioner. When the General Assembly is not in session and there is a vacancy in the position of legislative commissioner, such vacancy may be filled by the Joint Standing Committee on Legislative Management until the sixth Wednesday of the next session of the General Assembly and until a successor is appointed and has qualified pursuant to section 2-54.
