      Sec. 17b-227. (Formerly Sec. 17-297). Payment for support in state hospitals. All bills for support of inmates in state hospitals for mental illness shall be paid to the Commissioner of Administrative Services, who shall keep an account of the same and turn over the amount received in payment thereof to the State Treasurer.

      History: 1967 act substituted commissioner of finance and control for welfare commissioner; P.A. 77-614 replaced commissioner of finance and control with commissioner of administrative services; Sec. 17-297 transferred to Sec. 17b-227 in 1995.
