      Sec. 12-86. Termination date of Second World War. The Second World War, for the purpose of property tax exemptions granted under subdivision (19) of section 12-81, shall be deemed to have been terminated as of twelve o'clock midnight, December 31, 1947. No exemptions shall be granted except to those who were in service on December 31, 1947, or prior thereto.
