Section 18-13-107 - Interference with persons with disabilities

  • (1) A person shall not falsely impersonate an individual with a disability, as that term is defined in section 24-34-301.
  • (2) Repealed.
  • (3) A person shall not knowingly deny an individual with a disability, as defined in section 24-34-301, any right or privilege protected in section 24-34-502, 24-34-502.2, 24-34-601, 24-34-802, or 24-34-803.
  • (4) Violation of the provisions of this section is a petty offense.

Section 803(2) of chapter 462 (SB 21-271), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that the act changing this section applies to offenses committed on or after March 1, 2022.

2021 Ch. 462, was passed without a safety clause. See Colo. Const. art. V, § 1(3).
