[ Editor's note: This version of this section is effective until March 1, 2022. ] A person who violates this article 140 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars, imprisonment in the county jail for not more than eighteen months, or both the fine and imprisonment.
