Article 65 - Care and Treatment of Persons With Mental Health Disorders
§ 27-65-115. Discrimination

Universal Citation: CO Code § 27-65-115 (2021)

No person who has received evaluation or treatment under any provisions of this article shall be discriminated against because of such status. For purposes of this section, “discrimination” means giving any undue weight to the fact of hospitalization or outpatient care and treatment unrelated to a person's present capacity to meet standards applicable to all persons. Any person who suffers injury by reason of a violation of this section shall have a civil cause of action.
