§ 1-13-723. Penalty for Neglect of Duty - Destruction of Ballots - Breaking Seal

Universal Citation: CO Code § 1-13-723 (2021)
  1. [ ] Every officer upon whom any duty is imposed by any election law who violates the officer's duty or who neglects or omits to perform the same upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section 1-13-111.
  2. Any official or person, except one authorized by law, who breaks or loosens a seal on a ballot or a ballot box with the intent to disclose or learn the number of such ballot or ballot box upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section 1-13-111.
