(1) It is unlawful for any person to practice as a practical or professional nurse unless licensed to practice that profession.
(2) Any person who practices or offers or attempts to practice practical or professional nursing without an active license issued under this part 1 is subject to penalties pursuant to section 12-20-407 (1)(a).
