Article 210. Audiologists
Section 12-210-109. Director - powers - duties - rules.

(1) The director may conduct investigations and inspections in accordance with section 12-20-403 as necessary to determine whether an applicant or licensee has violated this article 210 or any rule adopted by the director under this article 210.

  1. The director may seek an injunction in accordance with section 12-20-406 to enjoinany act or practice that constitutes a violation of this article 210.

  2. The director shall determine the amount of malpractice coverage that must be obtained by an audiologist who provides services to patients.

  3. The director shall adopt rules pursuant to section 12-20-204, including rules requiring licensees to maintain records identifying customers by name, the goods or services provided to each customer other than batteries and minor accessories, and the date and price of each transaction. Licensees shall maintain the records for at least seven years after the last transaction.
