It was repealed in 2003 and was subsequently recreated and reenacted in 2016, resulting in the addition, relocation, or elimination of sections as well as subject matter. (2) This part 12 was recreated and reenacted, with amendments, by initiative in 2016. The vote count on Proposition 107 at the general election held November 8, 2016, was as follows:

AGAINST: 953,246
