§ 24-34-705. Penalty

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this part 7 or who aids in, incites, causes, or brings about in whole or in part the violation of any of such provisions, for each and every violation thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The penalty provided by this section shall be an alternative to the relief authorized by section 24-34-306 (9), and a person who seeks redress under this section shall not be permitted to seek relief from the commission.
