§ 12-33-103. State board of chiropractic examiners - subject to termination - repeal of article

(1) There is hereby created a Colorado state board of chiropractic examiners, referred to in this article as the "board", consisting of seven members who are citizens of the United States, five of whom must have practiced chiropractic in the state of Colorado for five years before their appointment and two of whom shall be appointed from the public at large. The governor shall appoint members of the board for a term of four years. Any board member may be removed by the governor for misconduct, incompetence, or neglect of duty. No member shall serve more than two consecutive terms.

(2) Repealed.

(3) (a) The provisions of section 24-34-104, C.R.S., concerning the termination schedule for regulatory bodies of the state unless extended as provided in that section, are applicable to the Colorado state board of chiropractic examiners created by this section.

(b) This article is repealed, effective July 1, 2020.
