Universal Citation: CA Health & Safety Code § 1569.171 (2023)
1569.171. Prior to issuance to any person of a certificate of completion of the administrator certification program pursuant to Section 1569.616, the department shall secure from an appropriate law enforcement agency a criminal record to determine if the person has been convicted of a crime other than a minor traffic violation. Based upon the criminal record information received, the department shall take appropriate action as provided for in Section 1569.17.
